1-How can I contact okpeople?
To contact okpeople, you only have to go to the website:www.ok-people.com to contact section.On the website you will find all the contacts and information you will need to get started.
2-Why does Okpeople only have an office in England?
We only have an office in England as this is where I have settled and I belive being close to my clients is important especially when they are away from home.
3-What documentation do I need to work in England?
Being a member of the EU you will only need your ID card or passport.
Please note that our services from Okpeople are restricted to memebers of the EU and you must be 18 years and over.
4-Can I use the Socila security (spanish NHS) in England?
Being a memeber of the EU you will be able to use the NHS here,all you need is your ID card or passport.
5-Would Okpeople help me if I have any problem in my job?
Yes, Okpeople will always make sure that everything agreed on the contract is adhered to. If you do have any problems, just contact the office on:01598 753838 from Monday to Friday, from:10.00-16.00 or send an e-mail to irene@ok-people.com and Okpeople will intervene inmediately.
6-Will I receive any information before I leave?
Yes, you will receive all the documentation with your job description,including salary,days off..etc and the contacts you will need for when you arrive.
7-Will I have to pay the whole price of the programme staright away?
No,you will pay a deposit of 250 euros when you decide which service you are going to use.You will be asked to pay the remainder when Okpeople confirm your job:In the unusual case that after a month we have not been able to find a job we will give you your money back.
8-When I join Okpeople will you guarantee a job that has accomodation suplied?
How long will my contact last?
Yes, always the accommodation is going to be in or near the place of work.
With regard to how long the contract will last, it will be for a minimum of three months.
9- Do I need experience to work in a hotel?
No,usually the hotel will train you to their requirements and standards.Sometimes the hotel will ask for an specific level of english,but this will be clearly stated on the job offer,so you don’t have to worry.
10- Will I have to take an english exam?
No, but a test over the telephone will be done for candidates for jobs where a medium/high level of english is required.
For the rest of the job offers whre a specific level of english is required you won’t have to take a test, because the hotels offer jobs to people with a basic level of english.
11- Will Okpeople help to choose the best job for me?
Yes, Okpeople is always going to use your cv,english level and strengths to help to choose the best job for you.

13- Will I just work when I am in England?
No, Okpeople offers to organize activities for our clients,these are dependant on demand and completely voluntary.It is intention that you will be able to meet other people and integrate into the english life style. |
